October was a fun-filled and productive month for the pupils in the Arbutus class! From engaging lessons to hands on activities, there was never a day without a smile. During an SPHE lesson, Alex took pride in looking at himself in the mirror and identifying what makes him unique. Liam enjoyed an interactive game on the whiteboard working on his Oral Language using the theme of Halloween. Pumpkin carving was an exciting part of the Arbutus class this month and the pupils got to explore the inside of the pumpkin during a Science lesson. They then used the seeds from inside the pumpkin to create a lovely art piece. William loved exploring the texture and smell of the seeds. Arthur worked on his fine motor skills making pumpkins out of playdough!
